Lord Lord we come to Thee with a heavy heart
for we do a few things but never do our full part
Lord You see what we do then hear what we say
even how greedy we clearly are when we pray

You know when we call upon You just for a favor
so then as we fall into sin You see what we savor
Only a great God would pick us up when we fall
and only a gracious God would still give us His all

Ah yes we boldly call You Lord Lord our Master
how bold our 'Lord' equals how large our disaster
When we find the time to approach Your throne
the line we've encroached is sadly already known

Lord lead us to Calvary and show us what is real
ignore some pleas for we've already lost our zeal
You know our thoughts before You hear our voices
You see we are caught up in dour wrong choices

Will we serve You Lord and Brothers and Sisters
or be unnerved by others who stand as resisters
We have time to take Christ even to the perverse
or enable evil's heist and stand by which is reverse

Lord we cry out to Thee with hearts most sincere
with no lie nor doubt we start by leaving sin here
We now come to You asking You to take us aboard
vowing to meet Your tasks then call Ye Lord Lord
