Loving and All-knowing God what would we've done
if unto believers Jesus had said No I am not The One
Or You chose not to live on this sod and sent another
for Moses is saying I'm not eloquent send my brother

When we are called do we try to hide from Your sight
enthralled by our giving more than some widow's mite
How many say to leaders please don't ask me to serve
see now I've not any needed gifts nor have I the nerve

Father the patience You showed to our brother Moses
in no sense compares to that shown us in larger doses
Oh we love to sing praises when waving Christian flags
though from above You see our ways as our faith lags

Whom will it be Father that when reading this prayer
is willing to say Father You've given blessings to spare
Then pray Father I want to give each blessing to You
may I put them to work for You in all things that I do

Oh Father let us live our lives to cause You to smile
go where we're to go and show our life worthwhile
Take us remake us and lead us to be more fervent
to live for Your sake for we are to be Your servant

Moses and Aaron teamed to speak out in Your Name
still the enemy opposes but his power is not the same
Brothers of faith were given strength through the rod
as we give to others at length they'll see You are God
