Father when we are part of a wrong that's done

we'd rather say "Oh well it did not hurt anyone"

Father forgive us for not seeing from Your view

those actions did not good but did wrong to You

If we live each day Lord as per Your prescriptions

our lives would be deserving of purer descriptions

You have provided The Light that leads us to You

and Your Word Your disciples cannot misconstrue

Father You know our paths even before we begin

that is why You've defined clearly that which is sin

When we do wrong while knowing how to do right

that is when sin is sin in our Father's perfect sight

Representing You Father to whom we all belong

we have the right to do right and not to do wrong

It is not Your will that we live without deference

Your Spirit is our Guide Your Son our Reference

So Father Your children know how we're to live

at all hours we are to show The Love You give

And not just give up sins based upon their size

we must live up to being chaste in Father's eyes

Gracious Heavenly Father let us honor Thy Name

when salacious we heap upon Your Name shame

Guide us Lord God in all that we do and all we say

abide with us as we stand tall for Thee every day
