I love You Lord and I give You my thanks
You cover me in Peace and calm my angst
It is You my Lord who cleanses this soul
only Your defenses keep sin from its goal

Never do You fail when I call Your Name
whether I stand or fall You are the same
Maybe once a week I sing praises to Thee
on other days my phrasings sing Me Me Me

Lord let me not be shy about sharing You
my times sharing You are so glaringly few
Forgive me Lord for times I do not bother
for I live only because You are my Father

Fill me Lord God with fruits of Your Spirit
Thy will for me is to share and not fear it
I shall take You with me even when I shop
and sing Hallelujahs from a mountain top

Lord how will Your good be known by all
unless I hone my sharing skills as You call
If I cannot tell everyone I can one by one
and never stop telling til my days are done

Tis my duty to tell of my Lord God's good
for Thy beauty dwells in my neighborhood
I needn't go very far to see a person to tell
and Satan wants me to keep You in a shell
